Submit a Shout-Out
Please take a moment to recognize those who have made a difference for their association or for the industry. NAHB will feature the shout-outs in the photo slideshow at the top of this page and the quote slider below. To read each shout-out in its entirety, view the 2025 Shout-Outs document. Our HBA of Winston-Salem (N.C.) staff is incredibly professional, hardworking and caring about membership. They are second to none and they lead by example constantly. I am thrilled to serve in our HBA along side them.
Annamaria Long’s leadership is inspirational. She has led us through discussions to have with our customers and is a champion for job growth in Flagler County. She also connects with city leaders to ensure compliance and transparency. I am honored to have her as a leader for growth and sustainability on behalf of our builders and contractors. Sam Dawson is proactive, friendly and will have your back. She rolls up her sleeves and treats the membership and office where we meet like a second home.
As the new EO here at the MBA of Pierce County, this team has stepped up over the past few months during the transition period AND a building remodel to provide support for the Board of Directors, members and myself. We look forward to great things now and in the future!
Shout-out to the HBA staff at the Polk County BA (Lakeland, Fla.) for all of their hard work!
We have an amazing team that is dedicated to the association and the industry!
Krystal Shearer is a positive energy force! She is engaging and detailed and we appreciate all she does for the HBA of Metro Harrisburg (Pa.).
I don't think there is another HBA that has accomplished more for their members with 3-person staff than the Ohio HBA. It is a testament to the dedication, determination, knowledge base and skill of this talented group. We are very thankful and fortunate to have them on our team!
Thank you, Team Greater Orlando BA!! For leading with authenticity, building community, and setting a gold standard for excellence and collaboration across Central Florida.
Southern Colorado is the luckiest community in the nation to have this group of amazing, passionate, educated, cultured, resourceful, and enjoyable people on the planet!
The Ohio HBA staff are doing a standout job representing us members at the Ohio Statehouse level, they truly "ROCK"!
The Colorado HBA staff work tirelessly to keep the development community informed about important updates and changes within the built environment. Their dedication to supporting builders and developers—while consistently advocating against the bureaucratic challenges that threaten our industry—is truly commendable.
Quad City Builders and Remodelers Association (Davenport, Iowa) has the best EO and staff! They make sure every event is a success and that the members are well engaged and informed of any upcoming events, HBA issues or important information that needs to get to the membership.
Ali Salow and Cliff McDonald have been on the job just two years. Ali is doing great things. She is undertaking publishing our membership directory and all other publications. Cliff is doing an amazing job with our accounting. The Greater Iowa City HBA is lucky to have them!
If you ever wondered what the effect of an organized and well-led group of women can accomplish, look no further than the HBA of Colorado Springs (Colo.). From the top down, this has been one of the most organized, well-structured, and openly inviting organizations I have been involved with.
The HBA of Western Michigan (Kalamazoo, Mich.) staff are passionate and work hard to make our association run very smoothly. They are active on several committees outside of the HBA, but part of the building industry to get us out in the community, as well as keeping a pulse on the industry outside of the HBA. I can't imagine a better team to work with.
North Coast BIA (Sheffield Village, Ohio) staff do a remarkable job in keeping our members informed, running our association and providing the many social activities that are so important to our association.
