The annual NAHB Student Competition is one of the highlights of the International Builders’ Show (IBS). The competition gives students the opportunity to apply skills learned in the classroom to a real construction company by completing a management project/proposal. Proposals are submitted to a group of construction company executives who act as judges.

Due to ongoing school travel restrictions, the 2022 NAHB Student Competition for all programs was conducted under a hybrid model, with teams having the option to present live in person at the 2022 International Builders’ Show in Orlando, Feb. 7-9, 2022, or virtually via Zoom on the same dates.
