The 2025 NAHB Student Competition will be held at the 2025 International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas, Feb. 25-27.

2025 Competition Timeline

Aug. 23, 2024 — Project Posted
Oct. 15, 2024 — Registration Deadline*
Oct. 15, 2024 — National Housing Endowment IBS Scholarship Application due
Nov. 19, 2024 — Team List Due (completed through registration portal)
Dec. 3, 2024 — Last Day to Withdraw from Competition
Dec. 17, 2024 — Projects Due (submitted through registration portal)
Feb. 24-25, 2025 — Presentation Dates (in-person, Las Vegas)
Feb. 26, 2025 — Judges Debriefing
Feb. 26, 2025 — Award Ceremony (in-person, Las Vegas)

*Register through the NAHB Awards Portal. Click the Apply Now button. The person registering the team will need their NAHB credentials. Next, select student Chapters Awards and select the Student Competition application.

2025 Competition Materials

The 2025 competition problem description, rules and guidelines, and important materials are available below. NAHB encourages students to request to join the 2025 Secondary Competition Google group as a Q&A space for questions related to the competition.

Secondary programs may compete in either the Architecture or Construction Management track. Track selection is made at the time of a team’s registration.

Entry Requirements

$200 entry fee for secondary programs.
