Castaway at River Islands is Van Daele Homes’ new neighborhood of 114 single-family residences in Northern California’s master planned community of River Island. Castaway represents one of the first neighborhoods in the community, and its homes were designed primarily to address the needs of first-time home buyers, as the units are the most popularly priced in the area. Castaway's 114 residences include detached two-story bungalows and single-story carriage-style flats, off-site manufactured by Entekra. Three different floor plans for Castaway are offered, and they feature expansive great rooms, generous kitchens and elegant master suites. There are two different floor plans for the two-story bungalows, which feature up to four bedrooms, three baths and 1,776 square feet of space, and have an enclosed front and private rear courtyards, and a detached garage. The carriage-style flats offer single-level living with three bedrooms, two baths and approximately 1,575 square feet, and include an outdoor deck and an attached garage. Several options for customization are offered with the Castaway homes, including a second master suite, a home management center and a California room.
