This modern farmhouse was custom designed and built for a young family in Jamestown, R.I. Along the coast of the Narraganset Bay, the open concept floor plan was designed to flow from the pre-existing cottage that had been converted in to a first-floor master bedroom suite designed for aging-in-place. The home is designed for an active lifestyle with an outdoor shower and tile floor along the side entrances to the mudroom and first-floor laundry room. Upstairs has three bedrooms, a full bath with enclosed toilet and built-in shelves, and a large sitting room with homework stations set up for a family.
