Applications for Leadership Grants and Scholarships Now Open

NAHB is invested in professional development opportunities for its members and providing exposure to NAHB leadership meetings to help foster future leaders for the home building industry. Applications are now open for select leadership grants and scholarships for qualified members to capitalize on these opportunities.

NAHB Remodelers Leadership Grant

If you are a current or past local leader and have an interest in serving at the national leadership level, the NAHB Remodeler Leadership Grant can help forge the connections you need to make an impact.

Grant recipients will receive financial support to help defray costs associated with member travel expenses to NAHB’s Spring Leadership Meeting, June 10-13 in Washington, D.C. They will also have access to numerous networking events with leadership development opportunities for remodelers.

Professional Women in Building/National Housing Endowment Scholarships and Grants

The scholarship and grants funds encourage individuals to further their education and training in housing industry related programs. Three PWB/NHE scholarships and grants are currently available to qualified applicants.

Leadership Grant

The Professional Women in Building Leadership Grant provides financial support to qualified applicants to help defray costs associated with professional development opportunities including housing and building related certifications, designations and licensing fees, travel expenses to NAHB Leadership Meetings, expenses related to career development and other building related programs. Strategies for Success Scholarship

The Strategies for Success Scholarship provides financial support to qualified students interested in advancing their education in housing industry related programs. See the full list of eligibility requirements.

Building Hope Scholarship

The Building Hope Scholarship provides financial support to qualified students interested in advancing their education and training in building industry related fields. Local NAHB PWB councils are encouraged to promote the Building Hope Scholarship to students in their communities. See the full list of eligibility requirements.

Associates Leadership Grant

The Associates Leadership Grant develops active Associate leaders through mentoring, participation at national meetings and education about NAHB’s programs and services to help Associates get the most out of their membership while cultivating future leaders. The grant provides financial assistance to a few Associate members each year to help defray the cost of attending NAHB’s board meetings.

The deadline to apply for each of these grants is March 7.

NAHB Emerging Leader Grant

Local and state member leaders who have not yet attended NAHB Spring or Fall Leadership Meetings are encouraged to apply for the NAHB Emerging Leader Grant. The $1,000 one-time grant helps cover the cost of attending a leadership meeting — a great opportunity for up-and-coming leaders to learn more about NAHB and network with other local leaders. The deadline to apply for the upcoming 2025 Spring Leadership Meeting is March 7.
