Support Future NAHB Leaders on Giving Tuesday
NAHB is participating in Giving Tuesday in 2022, the first in an annual Federation-wide leadership and workforce development campaign to raise funds for NAHB scholarship programs administered by the National Housing Endowment.
On the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Nov. 29, 2022, we are asking members to consider donating to one or more of the great scholarship funds that help emerging residential construction professionals finish their education and engage with leadership in the Federation.
Using the donation tool developed by the National Housing Endowment, you can select which specific fund you would like to give to, or you can opt to split your tax-deductible gift among all the funds. The funds, listed below, provide support for education, travel to NAHB meetings, and other programs for members of the Federation:
- NAHB Associates Leadership Grant – Helps selected Associate Members defray the costs to travel to NAHB Board meetings and develops active Associate leaders through mentoring and participation at meetings.
- NAHB Remodelers Fund – Established to fund and promote educational, research, and training programs related to the remodeling sector of the home building industry.
- NAHB Professional Women in Building Scholarship Fund – Funds three separate scholarships awarded to women to further their education and training in housing industry-related programs.
- NAHB Sustainability Scholarship Fund – Provides funds to students and recent grads interested in green building to attend the International Builders’ Show (IBS) for free, including hotel and airfare reimbursement.
Donations are being accepted now through Giving Tuesday on Nov. 29. HBAs are encouraged to use the Giving Tuesday platform in their own philanthropic programs.
