3 Reasons to Attend the 2026 International Builders’ Show
The NAHB International Builders’ Show® (IBS) is the premier event for the residential construction industry, bringing together tens of thousands of industry professionals and 1,700+ top manufacturers and suppliers every year.
Registration opens Sept. 2 for IBS 2026, taking place Feb. 17-19 in Orlando. Here are a few reasons to save the date and get your registration in early:
Star-Studded Speakers and Education
IBS always draws the best speakers with expertise in home building and design, real estate, economics, business management, and so much more. Many of these speakers are presenters in NAHB Education sessions. The IBS Expo+Education Pass allows attendees to sit in on 100+ education sessions.
In addition, NAHB and the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) — who runs the co-located Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) to create Design & Construction Week — bring in world-class speakers to share their experiences in business and life. And the 2026 keynote speaker was just announced.
Pro Football Hall of Fame running back Emmitt Smith, a professional football icon and one of the greatest to ever play the game, is the headliner for the Design & Construction Week Opening Ceremonies. As an entrepreneur, Smith runs several companies spanning real estate, construction and technology. He brings his experience and knowledge as a motivational speaker to the stage to kick off the Builders’ Show.
IBS is also bringing back its Game Changers series, which has featured prominent figures such as Steve Young, Noelle Russel and Margo Downs at previous shows.
Exhibit Floor Spotlights Latest Trends and Product Spotlights
Many exhibitors have recently expanded their booths to allow for hands-on demonstrations of their products. You can find them in any of the exhibit halls.
In addition, there are two large demonstration zones — the Construction Performance Zone in the West hall and the Craft Techniques Zone in the North/South hall — dedicated entirely to product and technique demonstration all day long. Stop by and watch the latest materials in action.
A Fond Farewell to Orlando
The 2026 International Builders’ Show will be the last in Orlando. Orlando has been a fantastic host for years, and we are all sad to say goodbye. IBS 2026 will be the last opportunity to travel to Orlando for the show, making it perfect for builders in Florida and the deep south before it moves permanently to Las Vegas for the 2027 show.
The 2026 International Builders’ Show will be one of the largest ever. Make your plans now to register on Sept. 2 for the best rates. Learn more at BuildersShow.com.
