The home building industry’s suppliers, service providers and product manufacturers support the industry in many different capacities and are a vital component of the association.

Joining NAHB is an opportunity for Associates to network and spotlight the products and services they provide to builders and remodelers, learn more about the industry and help promote a positive economic and regulatory environment for home building and related businesses.

The International Builders’ Show, Associate Premiere Partners’ Club, and NAHB social media sites are just a handful of the relationship-building opportunities available to members of NAHB.

News and Advocacy

When it comes to home building and advocacy, you don’t have to be a builder to get involved. Learn more about BUILD-PAC, NAHB’s political action committee, its mission and the benefits. Host an in-district visit for your representative or reach out to the media with a positive message about housing. Associate members get access to exclusive materials to help them raise money for home building advocacy issues.

Subscribe to NAHB’s e-newsletters and stay informed with Monday Morning Briefing and other e-publications. You can also read the Eye on Housing economics blog and access NAHB’s Monthly Update. Stay up to date on the latest industry developments with access to members-only content on nahb.org, including up-to-the-minute news reports, economic and forecasting information, and networking resources.

Education, Training and Events

NAHB encourages Associate members to learn more about home building, from new technology and safety codes to estimating skills and merchandising best practices. Broaden your industry knowledge and networking by attending NAHB Education seminars at your HBA or the International Builders’ Show, or apply for an NAHB educational designation. The Certified Graduate Associate designation is designed specifically for product manufacturers and service providers.

NAHB Associate Members Committee

The NAHB Associate Members Committee supports and represents the issues Associate members care about most. Get active in the committee, become part of the Associate Outreach Network, peruse recent committee meeting minutes and announcements of upcoming events, and take a look at recent associate honors.
