Travel Advisory: July 14
A parade will be held in Washington, D.C., on June 14 to commemorate the 250th birthday of the U.S. Army and President Trump’s 79th birthday. The parade and celebration are scheduled to take place from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Travel impacts:
- Flights departing from Reagan National Airport (DCA): The airport is expected to shut down for up to four hours, beginning at or around 6 p.m. This may result in canceled or delayed flights leaving DCA. Please check your itinerary.
- Traffic delays: The parade route will cover Constitution Avenue NW between 15th St. and 23rd St. Traffic delays are expected. If you are traveling out of the city that day, we encourage you to allocate extra time.
