Why Join the National Sales and Marketing Council?
The NAHB National Sales and Marketing Council (NSMC) is dedicated to helping its members enhance their selling and marketing skills to keep their businesses thriving. The council connects people and builds careers through education, information, resources and networking.
Education — Members can take advantage of exclusive resources including a variety of educational programs or earning one of four prestigious designations. Historically, members who earn a designation will often see significant increases in their annual sales. Members also get access to the information they need to stay on top of the latest industry with resources found in NAHB Ideas.
Awards — NSMC membership includes discounted application and admission rates to The Nationals, the nation’s largest competition for new home sales and marketing professionals and communities.
Networking — During the NAHB International Builders’ Show®, NSMC hosts a variety of activities in the Sales Central. The setting is informal and designed for group discussions and one-on-one networking. It’s the perfect place to meet your next business partner or client.
How to Join
NSMC membership is only available to NAHB members. To join, start locally: there may be a Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) at an HBA near you. If one is available, sign up! By becoming a member at your local SMC, you also become a member of the National Sales & Marketing Council. If your local HBA does not have an SMC, you can join NSMC directly as an at-large member for $50 per year. You’ll still receive the same benefits.
