2022 Remodeler of the Year

Robert Greaves is the 2022 NAHB Remodeler of the Year. As the owner of People Come First (PCF) Construction Group, Greaves oversees six companies in the Puget Sound region that specialize in outdoor living spaces. The name People Come First is reflective of the way Greaves prioritizes personal connections with clients and employees alike. During the pandemic, a significant portion of PCF’s budget went toward bolstering the company’s technology to stay connected with clients while protecting their health and comfort, leading to the company’s first entirely virtual transaction in 2021. In addition to providing his employees ample benefits and professional development opportunities, Greaves is known for going above and beyond to help them in times of need — from paying for family emergency travel to buying groceries for an employee whose house nearly burned down. This person-centered approach to leadership earned Greaves the 2022 Best Boss Award from the Certified Contractors Network. Additionally, PCF won three Guildmaster Awards for Service Excellence, three Puget Sound Business Journal Best Places to Work Awards and four recognitions on Qualified Remodeler’s Top 500 List.
