Manufacturer: Appalachian Log Structures

Builder: Amish Craftsman

Location: Piketon, Ohio

The home was designed to gently curve around the mountain that existed near the back elevation of the building site. The log home was designed with an open concept, integrating the living/dining/kitchen area, and large expansive glass windows to take advantage of valley view. The exposed beam vaulted ceilings were used to create height and a unique octagonal dining area for their family and friends to gather. A multitude of covered exposed beam porches and decks were designed to provide additional outdoor living area. The natural log and beam architectural elements provided the perfect mix of informal elegance, comfort and coziness that this customer was looking for in their log home building project.
