Project Statement

At The Hadley, each shared space has layered detailing with floor-to-ceiling interest, including rich millwork, bronze arched doorways and large-scale chandeliers. Intricate rugs and ceiling detailing separates one space from the next. Sculptural furniture with rich fabrics and unexpected artwork bring vibrancy to the spaces.

No room was left for the mundane at The Hadley. The mail room’s arched shelving turns retrieving mail into a curated experience. The dog wash’s tile detailing treats The Hadley’s pets like royalty.

Residents use the flex studio to have private training sessions. The fitness center includes top of the line equipment such as Peloton spin bikes. The Hadley also boasts thirty Xeal charging stations for Electric Vehicles within the property’s gated parking garage, far outstripping competition.

Historic St. Marks United Methodist Church directly abuts the site, so The Hadley references many of the church’s gothic features. The church’s verticality influenced the inviting, double-volume lobby. Many of the more classical details are inspired by the church including coffered ceilings, detailed metalwork, and paneled walls.
