Project Statement
Vista Brooklyn is located in downtown Jacksonville, Fla. The Downtown Investment Authority incentivized this project by using tax increment financing (TIF) to bring this place-changing project to life.
Vista Brooklyn has an ideal location with access to next-door retail and the riverfront greenway, and focuses on wellness, a live-work community and connection to the city. By prioritizing spaces on each floor, Vista Brooklyn encompasses something for every resident. Amenity spaces were added throughout the building so that each of the 10 floors has something to see to create an overall experience for residents.
The position of the building allows for a lot of natural light in the amenities and in apartment homes to give them a light, airy feel all over. Upgrading the sound attenuation was a must to minimize that sound between floor levels, especially those below the 10th-floor amenities. These include a luxury swimming pool, a beer garden, and a club room with amazing skyline views, a meditation room, a pet spa with tubs and air dryers, and a dog park on top of the parking garage.
