To date, the company has developed 50 projects in its 12-year history. By the end of the year, 14 sites will be under construction, totaling 3,930 units in eight major markets. Furthermore, three properties will receive certificates of occupancy this year and have begun leasing efforts.
StreetLights has hired talent across the country, with more than 200 employees. The Lean, Scrum framework organizes teams around value streams. Each region has a cross-functional team of developers, designers, architects, construction and finance. By communicating daily and presenting work every two weeks, the teams collaborate throughout the project, eliminating mistakes and maximizing efficiency. The amount of project starts in 2023 is a testament to this model’s impact.
