Project Statement

Canter Green is a four-story multifamily apartment building situated on more than 6 acres of land in Union Township, N.J. This project features pet-friendly one- to two-bedroom units, scenic outdoor space, and luxurious amenities designed for community fun and relaxation.

Canter Green was once a former industrial property that sat vacant for a long time and the city of Union, N.J., wanted to do something with it. This project sits on the site of a former salt factory site located in a residential neighborhood with access to regional transportation through the Garden State Parkway and NJ Transit stations in Union and Roselle Park. The salt factory had operated for several decades and had been closed for roughly 15 years before being purchased by RMS.

The suburban location is the perfect location for this new residential development as demographic trends show increasing interest from renters in places like Union that offer convenient access to employers throughout the region.
