Project Statement
The Wellen Way of Life embodies fun and good vibes, and the Welcome Center is centered around just that. As soon as visitors walk through the front doors, they will see the colorful Wellen Park-branded vintage Apé truck for guest registration and greetings.
The new center features an innovative bike and scooter display depicting the community’s commitment to wellness and expansion of pathways and trails, a 24-by-10-foot moss wall showcasing the various Wellen Park neighborhoods and coastal plain topography of southwest Florida. A custom mural, designed by local Sarasota artist Lipstick Lex, celebrates the community’s tree preservation and relocation program.
These playful and thoughtful details are carried throughout the entire space to show visitors what living in Wellen Park is all about. As the very first stop for potential home buyers and realtors, the Welcome Center provides access to expert community ambassadors, who have a wealth of knowledge about the neighborhoods and the surrounding area. And, for those visitors comfortable exploring on their own, the Welcome Center is equipped with touchscreen displays for up-to-the-minute information on all things Wellen Park.
