Project Statement

Astella Apartments is a boutique apartment community providing an upscale living environment that features relaxing social spaces and an array of community amenities. Elevated personal spaces are one of the many amenities the apartment community offers.

Located in the heat of San Francisco’s Design District, Astella’s interiors are an eclectic expression of the creative spirit of the neighborhood and the Golden State. Inspired by the locale and the striking exterior architecture, the interiors provide a respite from the busy and energetic vibe of the neighborhood.

The amenity highlights include a residential lobby with a radial curved sofa, and stretching across the glass front windows in the lobby is an additional counter space with integrated outlets and charging stations. The community clubroom provides an array of spaces for multiple functions. The sleek and modern kitchen has state-of-the-art appliances and an elongated island with waterfall ends. A cool and hip living room with ample and oversized comfortable seating is punctuated with a custom mosaic tile wall installation and is inspired by the city skyline and a curated art gallery wall features works from local artist in a dramatic installation lending to the hip and sophisticated vibe of the space.

The other amenity in this room is a billiards table with media separated from the living room space by a dual-sided fireplace wall clad in an ebony stone material with striking veining throughout. The co-working space located off a landscaped courtyard with seating provides banquette seating and work tables, two private offices and a causal living room environment. The artwork again reflects the creative expression of the neighborhood with layered earth tones and organic textures.
