Orleans at Fannin Station is the 2nd phase of a total of six communities in the area by the developer. The community was created to accommodate a demographic of medical support staff (e.g., nurses, assistants) who previously could not afford to live close to their workplace in the Medical Center. The community is located within 1 mile of the Transit Center, allowing quick access to the Medical Center, downtown and the surrounding Houston metro area.
The developer wanted to create an attainable community that kept the amenities and unit finishes comfortable but within a budget. Amenities include a resort pool, outdoor fitness gym, electric vehicle charging stations, hideaway with billiards, mobile concierge system, social lounge with catering kitchen, two-level fitness gym and internet café.
The three-story garden community comprises 338 one- and two-bedroom units. Facades of the stacked units resemble the brownstones of Chicago and New York. Exterior Amazon locker units, including refrigerated units, were placed throughout the community to allow easy access for its tenants.
