Project Statement

Lakeview-Point-Waterside Living is a $30.5 million, 132-unit apartment community located in the gorgeous Lakepoint district that fronts Lake Ray Hubbard in Garland, Texas. This mixed-income community comprises 65% affordable and 35% market-rate units distributed in one-, two- and three-bedroom units, housed in three stylish urban-style buildings, two of which are four-story elevatored.

A clubhouse with several amenities and a sparkling swimming pool are provided. Barbecue grills, picnic tables and benches are distributed throughout the site for enjoyment of the serene lake views.

This project will satisfy a dire need in this sub-market for affordable housing, resource access and community integration. Lower-income residents will enjoy the same access to top-class amenities, resources and services as their wealthier counterparts. Residents will have the pleasure of enjoying serene lakeside views, benefits of waterfront living, proximity to local boating docks, and nearby shopping and fine dining fronting the lake.

To top it off, this will be the first NGBS Certified Green project in Garland. These attributes speak to OM Housing’s vision of providing a fully integrated community rather than “just a nice place to live.”
