Project Statement

Revel Vegas — located on the west side of Las Vegas, convenient to both downtown and The Strip, as well as to the amenities of Summerlin, and the beauty and recreation of Red Rock Canyon — offers independent living for vibrant 55+ residents who believe the best in life is yet to come. A sense of place is evident immediately upon arrival at the arched, shaded porte cochere that leads to the main entrance. Inside, the tall, cool lobby offers respite from the desert sun, and a textural palette of architectural finishes and furnishings welcomes. Wood screens invoke intrigue of amenities beyond, and soon one is drawn to appealing lounge and dining spaces, and outside to the shimmering pool deck. The lofty central dining space — light-filled from clerestory windows and dramatic pleated chandeliers — maximizes views of the pool and courtyard living spaces. The building’s pitched roof is designed with varying heights and gables to break up the roof line. The exterior walls of the building comprise pop-outs, recesses and other architectural features to enhance the appearance of the building. Outdoor amenities are key to the appeal and livability of Revel Vegas, and inspire an active, social lifestyle among residents. The large pool courtyard flows from the central lobby, game room and outdoor dining, and offers dramatic views of The Strip and the distant mountains beyond. Lounge seating and groupings of cushioned chaises around the pool patio provide a true resort experience. At the opposite end of the clubhouse, a long quiet courtyard, with landscaped and ramada-shaded seating areas, offers strolling to the dog run, along the perimeter site circulation and to the surrounding neighborhood.
