Utah Valley HBA Parade of Homes Evolves into Nationally Recognized Showcase

The Utah Valley Home Builders Association's (UVHBA) annual, multi-location Parade of Homes has evolved into a nationally and internationally recognized home builder showcase that exhibits the talent and craftsmanship of builder and associate members. Over the course of three weekends, 40,000 printed and electronic tickets were sold from 49 states and 18 countries with the rising popularity of the UVHBA's Virtual Parade. The Parade consisted of 41 homes from 38 different home builders, with the number of physical tours ranging from 1,400 to 28,000 per home. This event provides an opportunity to present unique home building projects and inspire those in attendance to think outside the box and seek creative solutions and building practices.
This year, the initiative was very successful, achieving more than $1.4 million in gross profits and $1.1 million in net profits through participation from builders, associates, sponsors, and the public. With the net profit from this high-earning event, the UVHBA was able to create a small reserve for its operations, donate heavily to its charitable foundation and increase the visibility of its brand in its local communities.
