The Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County's (Wake HBA) Home Club Sponsorship program was a strategic, bundled scholarship campaign designed to provide members with a simplified, value-driven approach to annual engagement to generate non-dues revenue. The initiative was designed so that members can receive up to a 15% discount when they pre-purchase or -donate annual scholarships, event tickets, membership dues and other anticipated expenses for the upcoming year. This model helps increase financial predictability, encourages a long-term approach to sponsorship and allows Wake HBA to secure much of its annual revenue up front while helping members plan and maximize their investment.
The goals of this project were to increase non-dues revenue, improve operational efficiency and enhance the accessibility of membership through personalized outreach and working directly with members to create tailored packages aligned with their business objectives. With 76 members participating in 2025, the program achieved a record-breaking $599,725 in revenue with plans ranging from $2,100 to $45,000, with nearly no direct expenses.
