The objective of the Greater Orlando Builders Association's (GOBA) Custom Home and Remodeling Council (CHRC) programs was to support professional growth of members in the custom home building and remodeling industries through high-value, experience-driven education. The council has delivered eight programs over the past year, five of which were strategically centered around the National Association of Home Builders' New American Home, and designed to provide unique, behind-the-scenes learning through each phase of construction. Through a structured series of demonstrations, factory tours and CEU-accredited education, the CHRC delivered practical, real-time insights on materials, methods and home design, allowing members to ask questions and understand the full building process.

The impactful programming offered by the CHRC not only strengthened member engagement and industry partnerships but drove significant growth within the council and fostered opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing and networking among builders, designers and industry professionals. Council membership increased from roughly 30 to 75 members with the introduction of exclusive access to select programs, which elevated the value of GOBA and CHRC membership.
