This is an annual one-day, in-person program by the Home Builders Association of North Carolina (NCHBA), Executive Officers University, that increases professional development opportunities for executive officers across the state's 46 local home builders associations. EO University is designed to provide meaningful, no-cost training to ensure that all EOs, including part-time and volunteers, have access to relevant education and peer connections in the industry. The program has grown from 14 participants in 2023 to 18 in 2025 and has continued to grow and evolve each year to meet the needs of participants. The educational experiences cover everything from strengths-based leadership to effective social media messaging and practical tools for EOs to apply immediately in their associations.

By engaging local HBAs of all sizes, EO University has provided smaller associations statewide with a chance to establish strong and inclusive networks. Outcomes include increased collaboration, stronger HBA relationships, and improved engagement and confidence among executive officers.
