This JotForm-powered AI chatbot was launched by the Building Industry Association of Northern Kentucky to streamline communication and enrollment workflows for the Enzweiler Building Institute (EBI), modernizing the process and making admission more accessible. The chatbot serves as a counselor, answers questions and guides users through admission requirements, tuition payments, program selection, ID verification, licensure and other enrollment inquiries with accuracy and 24/7 availability. As opposed to replacing staff and live interaction, the bot serves as a communication tool that enhances and preserves human relationships by seamlessly addressing repetitive inquiries and allowing staff to shift to more complex, high-value engagement and outcomes.

This Web 2.0 AI Agent successfully ensured that prospective students received accurate information on next steps in the admission process, and that enrollment is consistent and achieves necessary compliance with regulatory expectations. Students no longer must wait for office hours to enroll, in turn resulting in higher conversion of interest into measurable action. The project accomplished its aim to integrate more effective communication strategies with the EBI's institutional mission of expanding access to skilled-trade educational opportunities.
