The Home Builders Association of Hickory-Catawba Valley hosted its first progressive-style holiday dinner party in 2024. It was a festive, multi-stop evening designed to celebrate members, kick off the holiday season, install the 2025 officers and present local HBA awards. Members traveled via a chartered bus to four different association businesses, each hosting unique courses of appetizers and cocktails, salads and drinks, dinner and formalities, and a dessert and hot cocoa finale. The event doubled as a creative marketing opportunity for associate members to showcase their showrooms in a memorable, holiday-themed setting. A scavenger hunt added an extra layer of fun, with guests finding hidden ornaments tied to each host’s business theme. The evening was a resounding success, blending celebration, networking and member appreciation in a warm, engaging format.
