The HBA of Raleigh & Wake County’s Parade of Homes is the largest open house in North Carolina and allows builders to showcase new homes to the public.
In 2023, the HBA had three goals:
- Exceed entry revenue by $20,000. The 2023 actual entry revenue was $315,688, exceeding the budgeted goal of $245,250. The association implemented new website features, digital marketing, and promotion to keep the parade relevant to members and the public. As a result, the HBA went from 102 entries in 2022 to 158 in 2023.
- Exceed budgeted awards gala tickets by $10,000. The 2023 gala ticket revenue budget was $57,000, and the 2023 actual ticket sales revenue was $78,900.
- Secure five new builders to participate in the parade. Through committee outreach, the HBA was able to meet its goal and get five new builders to participate.
