The HBA of the Upper Peninsula’s HBA Wild Game Dinner is a scholarship fundraiser with raffles, a silent auction, games, and other activities. The funds support students entering the residential construction skilled trades. The HBA started with 125 in attendance, generating a $5,000 profit. Due to the increased interest in the event, attendance reached capacity and secured $20,000 in profit. The EO plans the event, and members assist during the event to help it run smoothly. Interest from members about the event grows each year, leading to more buzz and anticipation.
