The BIA of Northern Kentucky’s Commercial Council events are for members involved in the industry’s commercial, industrial builder, and developer sectors. The events focus on economically impactful projects while giving the Council a forum to invite prospective members to learn more about the BIA. The Commercial Council held three events in 2023, including the Turfway Park Racing and Gaming, a $145 million renovation; The Hayden Project, a $31.4 million renovation of a former Kenton County Administration Building; and the Covington City Center Project.
The Council hosts networking events and opportunities to connect with elected officials to move the sector forward with infrastructure projects, sites, individual projects, and areas of future impact. The Commercial Council is innovative within the Federation since these members are not associated with the home builder industry. They are commercial, industrial builder developers and the businesses affiliated to support that portion of the construction sector.
