With a focus on providing helpful information and fostering a friendly online community, the Black Hills HBA revamped their website to serve as a go-to resource for anyone interested in home building or joining the association. The purpose of the project was to create an informative, engaging, and user-friendly website that serves as a one-stop resource for HBA members. By providing a better resource for member benefits, improving event experiences and facilitating member networking through the directory, the revamped website enhanced the association’s online presence and strengthened its value proposition to members and the broader home building community.

The successful implementation of the project involved a collaborative approach to gain support and financial assistance from various board members and membership. The EO presented the project to the board and committees, highlighting its potential benefits and seeking their endorsement. To secure financial assistance, the HBA developed sponsorship opportunity packets presented to member that outlined the various ways in which businesses or individuals could contribute to the project. By involving membership, the HBA ensured that the project was a collective effort that had widespread backing, creating an avenue for members to contribute to the website’s success and fostering a sense of ownership. Through this collaborative approach, the Black Hills HBA was able to garner support, both in terms of resources and finances, to successfully execute the project.
