The North Carolina Home Builders Association’s (NCHBA) membership has eight regions. Each year, the NCHBA’s Senior Officers and staff spend one week visiting all eight regions for a Regional Meeting, creating an opportunity for local executive officers, leadership, and general members to learn more about the HBA. Over the years, the Regional Meetings have steadily increased attendance. From 2018 to 2023, attendance has increased an average of 20 percent year over year.
NCHBA’s Regional Meetings connect with leadership and members at the 53 local HBAs throughout the state. However, the meetings have become an important venue for members to share the challenges and issues they face. Each year, the Regional Meetings take on a different focus. For example, in 2023, the NCHBA spotlighted proposed energy code requirements. Additionally, these meetings allow members to discover how to maximize membership benefits and hear how the HBA’s legislative work protects home building in North Carolina.
