Forty percent of all royalties generated from these programs will be distributed to participating HBAs.
Step 1: Select the programs you want to communicate to your membership and register using the form below.
Step 2: Go to nahb.org/savingstoolkit and download the Member Savings banner to place on your association home page and/or member benefits page, and link it to nahb.org/savings before March 1 of the year you wish to participate.
Step 3: Place the link nahb.org/savings in the body of your e-newsletters at least four times a year (once each quarter). HBAs are required to forward these e-newsletters to the NAHB Manager of Affinity Programs prior to the end of each quarter.
Step 4: Place one of the Member Savings ads or a vendor-specific ad (available for download from nahb.org/savingsads) in any print newsletter or magazine you publish at least four times a year (once each quarter). HBAs are required to mail these newsletters or magazines to the NAHB Manager of Affinity Programs prior to the end of each quarter.
If your HBA does not produce any print member communication materials, then the EO and membership director must incorporate the link nahb.org/savings into their email signature lines for the entire year. If you choose the email signature line option, the EO and Membership Director must email the Manager of Affinity Programs showing the working link before March 1 of the year you are participating to complete Step 4.
Step 5: (Optional) Socially Engage! Use social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) to communicate these member discounts and link back to www.nahb.org/savings. (Please note that for Instagram, you will need to put the link in your bio, since images cannot be linked.) Make sure to send a copy of your post to firstname.lastname@example.org once a quarter.
Royalty payments will be made to participating HBAs that have met the above requirements in the first quarter of the following calendar year.
Note: Royalties paid are based on actual revenue received per contractual agreement with each participating affinity company. Individual NAHB member participation is determined by each affinity company.
