2025 NAHB Legislative Conference
June 11, 2025
Attend NAHB’s 2025 Legislative Conference
There’s never been a more exciting time to be in Washington, D.C. In this short video, NAHB’s Chief Advocacy Officer, Ken Wingert, encourages all members to participate in Capitol Hill meetings on June 11 to ensure the message to Congress is clear: Let Builders Build.
The power of the home building industry lies in its grassroots advocacy efforts. Legislative Conference allows NAHB members to lobby members of Congress to protect their businesses and industry, establish relationships and ensure that policymakers hear housing issues.
The meetings, held on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., are a critical part of the Federation’s advocacy efforts to keep housing issues a priority with federal lawmakers. Your participation can make a difference.
Preparing for the Legislative Conference
Your first step is to schedule meetings with your members of Congress in June. Use the links below to find your member of Congress and schedule a meeting:
Attend the Issue Briefing Webinar on May 28 at 12 p.m. ET
The webinar will feature NAHB policy experts who will provide members with the most impactful and timely information on the housing industry’s challenges.
NAHB has identified three high-priority topics to address with lawmakers:
- Renewal of tax laws which will help consumers and businesses
- Reversing a disastrous energy code policy that places homeownership out of reach for families
- Easing the chronic workforce shortage by gaining co-sponsors for the CONSTRUCTS Act in both the House and Senate
Participating in Legislative Conference
The day begins at the Marriott Marquis Hotel with a briefing on key issues and guest speakers. NAHB will provide bus transportation from the Marriott Marquis headquarters for the 2025 Spring Leadership Meeting to Capitol Hill.
