The Credential - November 2025
Welcome to the December 2025 edition of The Credential!
As the year winds down and the festive season takes shape, December offers a natural pause—a time to reflect, reconnect, and look ahead. The cooler air and spirit of celebration remind us of the importance of community and purpose. It’s also a moment of personal transition: this will be my final message as Chair of the HCCP Board of Governors. Serving in this role has been an incredible honor, and I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to lead alongside such a passionate and dedicated group of professionals.
In this issue of The Credential, we’ve gathered timely updates and expert perspectives to support your journey and celebrate the collective progress of our HCCP community.
Don’t miss our featured December webinar, From Regulation to Reality: How Partners are Making HOTMA Work, presented by Tari Bradley and Carole Brown. They’ll share real-world challenges, coordination strategies, and lessons learned from navigating system updates, layered program requirements, and evolving guidance—along with practical tips for smoother implementation.
We’re also excited to share a strong lineup of articles in this issue, each offering timely insights and practical guidance for your work in Housing Credit Compliance.

As we look ahead to 2026, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the board members who will be rolling off at the end of this term year. Your leadership, insight, and commitment have helped shape the direction of Housing Credit Compliance, and your contributions will have a lasting impact. Thank you for your commitment and for helping to strengthen the HCCP designation.
At the same time, I’m thrilled to welcome six dynamic new board members who will be joining us in 2026. Representing a range of sectors and experiences, they bring fresh perspectives and a shared passion for advancing affordable housing. I’m excited to see the energy and fresh ideas these new members will bring as the board continues to grow and evolve.
As I conclude my term as Chair and step into the role of Past Chair, I want to extend my sincere thanks to each of you. Your engagement, professionalism, and commitment to excellence define this community. It has been a privilege to serve, and I look forward to supporting the HCCP designation’s continued growth and impact in the years ahead.
