How to Help Kentucky Relief and Recovery Efforts
Following a series of severe weather events this year, another wave of destructive storms recently swept across Kentucky, causing widespread damage. Tornadoes and flooding have taken a heavy toll on homes, businesses, and critical infrastructure in recent weeks, leaving many communities left picking up the pieces.
In response, NAHB is working closely with state and local home builder associations across the Kentucky to meet the needs of members and their communities who are affected by the storm and to provide resources to help them rebuild.
For those looking to support the relief effort, the Home Building Association of Kentucky (HBAK) has established the HBAK Disaster Relief Fund through the Community Foundation of Louisville. This dedicated disaster relief fund provides assistance and support to the communities hardest hit by this natural disaster. Individuals, businesses, members and friends of the industry are encouraged to make contributions to help defray the cost of recovery.
The HBAK Disaster Relief Fund is currently accepting donations online and by check.
