Finalists Announced for the 2023 The Nationals Awards

NAHB announced the Silver Winners, or finalists, for The Nationals, presenting the National Sales and Marketing Awards, Best of 55+ Housing Awards, Global Innovation Awards and NAHB Honors. Gold Winners will be announced at The Nationals Awards Ceremony, sponsored by Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, which will take place Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 5 p.m. at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas during the 2024 International Builders’ Show.

The awards recognize outstanding residential real estate sales, marketing and design, 55+ housing projects, individual achievement and global excellence.

Home improvement activity has remained elevated in the post-pandemic period, but both the volume of loan applications and the age profile of borrowers have shifted in notable ways. Data from the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), analyzed by NAHB, show that total home improvement loan applications have eased from their recent post-pandemic peak, and the distribution of borrowers across age groups has gradually tilted older.
