Resolutions in the Pipeline for 2026 Spring Leadership Meeting
To date, one recommendation has been submitted for consideration at the Spring Leadership Council meeting on June 13.
The recommendation implements the NAHB Sunset Review process for policies adopted or reaffirmed in 2022. The committees and councils with primary oversight of these policies have reviewed the policies and submitted a list of resolutions that they recommend be extended for another four years or let expire with an explanation. This information is contained in the Sunset Review Handbook.
Resolutions and recommendations may still be submitted for consideration at the Leadership Council meeting. Resolutions and recommendation submitted by June 5 will require a two-thirds majority vote, rather than a simple majority for passage. The Resolutions Committee will determine if resolutions and recommendations submitted after June 5 are an emergency and can be considered at the June meeting.
