Kevin Kelly, NAHB’s 2014 Chairman of the Board, is president of Leon N. Weiner & Associates, Inc. in Delaware. The company has built and developed more than 15,000 sale and rental homes and received numerous honors from affordable housing advocates. A life director of the Home Builders Association of Delaware, he served two terms as its president and was twice named Builder of the Year. Kelly is only the third person in 70 years to receive his HBA’s distinguished service award.
Kelly chaired NAHB’s Federal Government Affairs, Association Planning and joint councils, and has served on the Budget and Finance committee. In 2009, Kelly was honored as the Government Affairs Advocate of the Year.
He is also president of the Leon N. Weiner Education Foundation, serves on the board of directors of Catholic Charities for the Diocese of Wilmington, and is a member of the New Castle County Housing Advisory Board, the Board of Governors of the National Housing Conference and Fannie Mae’s Affordable Housing Advisory Council.
