Brian C. Catalde

Brian Catalde served as NAHB president in 2007. Catalde is president and chief operating officer of Paragon Communities in El Segundo, Calif. He was an NAHB National Vice President from 2000 to 2004 and a National Representative from 1997 to 1999. Catalde was the 1995 president of the Building Industry Association of Southern California, and in 1996 he was named that association’s Builder of the Year. He was also president of the California Building Industry Association in 1999, was a commissioner on the Los Angeles County Tax Board from 1996 to 2002 and is a co-founder of the Gary Troy Foundation, which provides services to teenagers suffering from drug and alcohol abuse problems.
