Robert Arquilla

Robert Arquilla served as NAHB president in 1977. A second-generation builder, Arquilla is a partner in the family-owned business Burnside Construction Co. in Glenwood, Ill. He has served as president of the Homebuilders Association of Chicago, president of the Home Builders of Greater Chicagoland, and president of the Residential Construction Employers Council, a Chicago labor negotiation association. Arquilla has served as NAHB national representative, representative to the National Carpenter Craft Board (wage stabilization), member of the NAHB executive committee, an NAHB national director and an Illinois state director.
