During his outstanding career, 1965 NAHB President Perry Willits built schools, churches, apartments, condominiums and over 4,000 single-family homes in all price ranges. A leader in promoting the use of components in home building, Perry was also active in legislative affairs, forcefully advocating housing legislation. He was vitally instrumental in getting condominium legislation passed in Florida.
