Eugene A. Gulledge served as NAHB president in 1969. Gulledge is head of Superior Construction Co. in Greensboro, N.C. He was the first president of the Home Builders Association of Greensboro and of the North Carolina State Home Builders Association. He was named NAHB outstanding national representative in 1964, and in 1965, served as vice president of Area IV (North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and South Carolina). American Home magazine gave Gulledge an award for building the best homes in North Carolina. He also serves on the Housing Commission of the City of Greensboro.
