Carl T. Mitnick served as president of NAHB in 1959. A New Jersey home builder, Mitnick brought new luster to retirement home building with projects in Cape May. He supported the formation of a central mortgage bank, served on the FHA Industry Advisory Board in 1960, and was a builder delegate to the former Soviet Union.
