Chicago-area home builder, realtor and land developer, George F. Nixon, was one of the small group of dedicated men who formed NAHB and became its first president in 1940. Nixon was a founder and past president of the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicagoland and a past president of the Chicago Real Estate Board.
