The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) officially opened online registration and housing today for the 2027 NAHB International Builders’ Show® (IBS), the largest annual light construction trade show in the world.

The show returns to Las Vegas where it will make its permanent home. IBS 2027 will take place Feb. 2-4, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, where it will again co-locate with the National Kitchen & Bath Association’s (NKBA) Kitchen & Bath Industry Show® (KBIS) for the 14th Annual Design & Construction Week® (DCW). The two shows will host more than 2,350 exhibiting brands spanning over 1.2 million net square feet of exhibit space, with 120,000+ expected attendees, making it the largest annual gathering of the residential design and construction industry in the world.

“The International Builders’ Show is where the housing industry comes together to shape the future of home building. Whether you’re looking to discover the latest innovations, gain valuable business insights or build relationships with industry leaders, there is simply no substitute for being at IBS,” said NAHB Chairman Bill Owens, a home builder and remodeler from Worthington, Ohio. “If you want to stay competitive and connected in today’s evolving market, this is the event you can’t afford to miss.”

Robust Education Opportunities

One of the biggest reasons industry professionals return to IBS each year is for the unparalleled education offerings. With an Expo+Education Pass, attendees have 3-day access to all IBS Education sessions as well as entry to both IBS and KBIS show floors. Attendees can choose from more than 120 dynamic sessions across nine education tracks specifically targeted to help builders, remodelers, designers and other housing professionals stay ahead of industry trends, sharpen their skills and grow their businesses. And for even more education, there are several pre-show learning opportunities offered Jan. 31-Feb. 1, available for additional fees.

Innovative Products and Trends

From cutting-edge products to hands-on demonstrations, the IBS exhibit floor is the place to discover what’s next in residential construction. Attendees can easily navigate the show through six dedicated product and service categories, while special attractions including the New Product Zone, IBS Start-Up Zone, Construction Performance Zone and Jobsite Safety Zone, offer opportunities to explore emerging trends, innovative solutions and industry best practices. The experience extends into the IBS Outdoor Exhibits, including Pro Builder Show Village, featuring demonstration homes, interactive exhibits and valuable networking opportunities.

Networking and Special Events

The show delivers nonstop opportunities to connect with industry colleagues with numerous high-energy networking events, dynamic speaker sessions, social gatherings and special events. The first day will kick off for all registrants the morning of Feb. 2 with the DCW Opening Ceremonies, featuring prominent businessman and “ABC’s Shark Tank” television personality Kevin O’Leary as the keynote speaker. That evening, ticketed attendees can continue the celebration at the IBS House Party. Other ticketed events throughout the week include the Young Pro Party on Wednesday night, and the IBS Closing Concert, which brings the week to an exciting finale immediately after the show floor closes on Thursday.

Attendees can also see the latest in design trends, product innovations and smart home technology in The New American Home® (TNAH) and The New American Remodel® (TNAR), the official show homes of IBS. The homes are available for IBS attendees and media members to tour throughout the three days of the show. Products showcased in the homes are provided by members of the NAHB Leading Suppliers Council, and Professional Builder magazine once again serves as the homes’ media sponsor.
