The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Leading Suppliers Council, in collaboration with Professional Builder magazine, today unveiled the official show homes of the NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS): The New American Home® 2026 and The New American Remodel® 2026. IBS attendees and media members may tour the homes Feb. 17-19.

Located in Winter Park, Fla., the 2026 show homes are the latest editions of The New American Home program and built to showcase the latest innovations in home building products, designs and techniques. The homes will be the program’s last to be built in Orlando, as future homes will be exclusively constructed in Las Vegas in conjunction with IBS.

Built and designed by Alair Orlando, the new home is a six-bedroom, eight-bathroom luxury residence with 7,889 square feet of living space and a total of 16,612 square feet under roof. The home boasts several premium features including a wellness center, theater, wine cellar, game room and an underground garage for up to 18 cars.

“We’re extremely proud to unveil this year’s show home as a true reflection of what’s next in residential design, where high-performance meets high style,” said Daniel Kennerley, partner at Alair Orlando. “Every detail of the home was thoughtfully crafted to push the envelope in energy efficiency, sustainability and modern livability.”

The home was also built to support a charitable cause. The home’s owner, Jason Eichenholz, Ph.D., an entrepreneur, philanthropist and founder of the Jonathan’s Landing charitable foundation, is making a dollar-for-dollar matching donation to his foundation for the cost of all items supplied by the product manufacturers and others who supported the project. The Jonathan’s Landing Foundation aims to develop a community with housing for 500 people and create 5,000 jobs to help adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The remodeled home exhibit, overseen by Phil Kean Design Group, showcases a “soft renovation” of 3,341-square-foot home originally built in the 1950s. The project focused on updating existing structures with modern products and design techniques, rather than tearing down and building new. The three-bedroom, three-and-one-half-bathroom renovated home features a more cohesive design and open floorplan, with several indoor-outdoor living amenities including a pool, two fireplaces and an expansive outdoor kitchen.

“Our mission was to honor the home’s original character while transforming it into a model of modern performance and design,” said Kean. “We carefully preserved key architectural elements, while integrating advanced building techniques and materials. The result is a seamless blend of history and innovation, proving that with the right vision, even a decades-old structure can surpass the expectations of tomorrow’s home owner.”

Both the new home and the remodeled home are expected to achieve top industry marks for energy efficiency. The homes have earned National Green Building Standard (NGBS) Emerald status — the highest efficiency rating of NGBS — and will receive certifications from multiple Department of Energy programs, including: Energy Star, Zero Energy Ready Home and Indoor airPLUS.
