NAHB Announces Best of IBS Winners at International Builders’ Show
The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) named the winners of its 11th annual Best of IBS™ Awards during the NAHB International Builders’ Show® (IBS) in Las Vegas last week. The awards were presented during a ceremony held on the final day of the show.
This year’s Best of IBS Awards received more than 230 entries. Decided by a panel of 36 independent judges made up of industry and media representatives, the awards were given in nine categories, plus the overall Best in Show winner.
Awards were given to exhibitors with a product or line that shows the best combination of design, functionality and innovation, as well as its usefulness to consumers and/or home builders.
The winners are:

- Best Business Solution Software Product: TraceAir by TraceAir – Booth W4075
- Best Energy Efficient Product: Solstice® Shingle by CertainTeed LLC – Booth C2530
- Best Home Technology Product: MB-79N Window with Infratherm Technology by BERTRAND Windows & Doors – Booth C3842
- Best Indoor Product: JascoPro Series SmartCycle Lighting by Jasco Products – Booth W4501
- Best Kitchen & Bath Product: Empervious by Emser Tile – Booth C6719
- Best Outdoor Product: Quick Click 6" Shadowline Soffit by ChamClad – Booth C2641
- Best Window and Door Product: Pella Steady Set Interior Installation System by Pella Corporation – Booth P16
- Most Innovative Building Material: Protecto Wall VP by Protecto Wrap Co. – Booth C7739
- Most Innovative Construction Tool: Integrated Layout System by Flashpoint Building Systems – Booth SU2102
“The 2024 Best of IBS Awards featured some of the best products we’ve seen at the show in the last 15 years,” said Wes Robbins with W. Robbins & Company and Best of IBS Awards judge. “It was amazing to be surrounded by such innovation with all of this year’s products.”

The panel of judges noted that the Best in Show winner, Solstice Shingle by CertainTeed LLC, seamlessly integrates with traditional asphalt shingles while delivering very high photovoltaic electrical conversion. This product comes with a 25-year warranty and is rated to be installed in any wind zone. It also carries a Class 3 impact resistance rating. The judges felt that this solar shingle marks a significant advancement in aesthetics, durability and efficiency.
