The opportunities for design, construction and home improvement professionals continue to grow in Las Vegas at the start of 2023 with the addition of another co-dated wholesale buying event to Design & Construction Week (DCW). Las Vegas Market will co-date with DCW, which features the National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) International Builders’ Show (IBS) and the NKBA Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS). Las Vegas Market is the leading home furnishings and gift market in the western United States.

This news comes on the heels of the announcement earlier this year that the National Hardware Show (NHS) will also co-date with DCW in 2023, allowing attendees to explore even more products and opportunities to grow their businesses and maintain their competitive edge in the market. Collectively, the four trade events will take place January 29 through February 2, 2023, at two Las Vegas venues.

“We are very excited that this year’s IBS attendees will have the added opportunity to explore the exhibits of the Las Vegas Market for no additional fee,” said NAHB CEO Jerry Howard. “Fast, free shuttles will connect IBS, KBIS and NHS, all being held in the Las Vegas Convention Center, with the Las Vegas Market at the World Market Center Las Vegas.”

“We think having the Las Vegas Market co-date with us in Las Vegas is a great opportunity to expand Design & Construction Week even further,” said Bill Darcy, Chief Executive Officer for the NKBA. “Our Kitchen & Bath industry professionals can benefit from more value and opportunities during their time in Las Vegas by aligning with the Las Vegas Market and the other industry leading events. It’s also a great way for all these associations to better serve their respective members as we look to the future.”

“In a few short months, Las Vegas will be THE residential design, construction, and furnishings destination for our industry. Individually, our shows are major draws for our industry leaders, offering unique, must-have products and top programming. Together, we will deliver an unparalleled experience,” said Bob Maricich, CEO of International Market Centers (IMC), which produces Las Vegas Market. “By co-dating Las Vegas Market’s thousands of exhibitors in permanent showrooms and temporary exhibits showcasing the latest furniture, bedding, casual/outdoor, home décor and gift products, Design & Construction Week now presents the full spectrum of resources not just for building a house, but also for making it a home.”

“By coming together, we are able to offer buyers the opportunity to kick off 2023 with discovery and connection,” said Beth Casson, Event Vice President of the National Hardware Show. “NHS is the destination for uncovering trends and sourcing new products from new suppliers and new technologies to improve business operations. It’s going to be a stellar can’t-miss week and we cannot wait to celebrate innovation, and at the same time, offer the resources necessary for attendees to grow their business.”

IBS, KBIS and NHS badges will be accepted as credentials for LVM trade show only access and are not valid for conference or education programs where additional registration fees apply. Las Vegas Market buyers may register for IBS or KBIS at a discounted rate through the DCW website to receive access to IBS, KBIS and NHS.
